A vibrant identity and campaign to capture a world of film.
Also known as MSPIFF, the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival is the largest annual celebration of international cinema in the region. We crafted an identity and campaign that positioned 2025’s iteration as an opportunity to discover and imagine new worlds through the screen — embracing a ticket to the festival as a ticket to anywhere.

In addition to showing ~200 films from around the world, MSPIFF hosts parties, panels, visiting filmmakers, and special guests galore. Our creative embraced the festival’s layered energy through a bright palette and a joyful illustration style. The result? 30,000+ festival attendees were attracted — the largest turnout in ten+ years — and the festival expanded to an additional location. Additionally, attendees were so enthused by the popcorn illustrations that our popcorn-adorned shirts and totes for volunteers ended up getting sold as merch.
